Sometimes parents ask me the "best classes" to come to, and here's my overall answer because the best is different for each child or adult.
Little Ninja's - Monday's are usually a little bit smaller than Tuesdays, and the focus level is a little bit higher because it's 2 hour earlier. Don't fear Tuesday's class though because it's still a lot of fun which usually max's out at around 5 children.
Youth Karate - Monday's are usually smaller classes at around 3-8 kids. Wednesday's are slightly bigger at around 4-10 kids. Friday's are usually rather large at around 15 kids. The addition of Thursday's class will probably draw 2 or 3 children from each class to make them slightly smaller. I'm suspecting Thursday to be the smallest in November simply because it will be a fresh class, and most people already have their set schedule til the New Year.
Youth BJJ - Monday again, is usually smaller, around 4-8 kids. Wednesday's are slightly bigger at around 8-12 kids. Friday with Coach Frye is usually big at around 15 kids, however there is a minimum of 2 instructors on this day, sometimes 3-5 instructors. I suspect the Thursday class will be pretty small in the beginning and decrease the size of Wednesday's BJJ class, and maybe just slightly decrease the size of Friday's.
Adult BJJ - Monday's class is usually small. It is a GREAT class for the Women to attend so they can double up on the week. It is a Beginner BJJ class and we cover the same curriculum as the Women's Only class. This is for White Belts, tho higher levels may attend with the understanding that this is a beginner's class. It may be easier for Women with the addition of the new Cardio Kickboxing class come November. Tuesday's class is usually around 8 - 10 people on average and Thursday is around the same. Friday's class has been very random. Sometimes there are 3 people, and sometimes there are 10 people. Keep in mind, Friday is 50% Wrestling and 50% NoGi Jiu Jitsu rolling.
Hopefully, this brief analysis helps you decide which class may be best for yourself or your children. If you like smaller classes, the first half of the week is usually smaller than the second half.
